I ended up saving $X, which was nice, but I was expecting a bit more based on what I’d heard. The site was easy enough to use and did the job, just nothing that really wowed me.

I tried a few coupons on localsaver.com, but most of them were already expired. One did go through, but the discount ended up being smaller than what was listed. I was hoping it would be more like...

It’s not bad and I do like using it, but at the same time I don’t love how much tracking seems to be going on. It feels useful and a little invasive all at once, so I’m kind of torn.

I found coupons for food, an oil change, and even a haircut easily. It was nice having a bunch of different deals in one place...

I ran into an issue with my LocalSaver account and reached out to customer support a couple of times. it took way longer than I thought it would to get a useful answer, and the first reply felt generic, like they hadn’t really read what I wrote.
They did get back to me eventually, but the explanation was still a bit confusing and I had to follow up again. The site itself is decent, especially if you’re trying to save money, but when I’m watching what I spend, I also expect the support to be quicker and more helpful.

I liked that the prices were shown upfront, so I didn’t feel like I was being hit with surprise charges at checkout. I made an account on localsaver.com the whole signup process was easy. I entered my info, got the confirmation email quickly, and didn’t really run into any major issues or confusing errors. There was one part where I had to pause for a minute and figure out what I was supposed to do next, but once I realized it, it was fine and I was able to keep going. Overall, it was simple enough and didn’t feel like one of those annoying signups where you have to keep restarting or guessing what went wrong.

i mean, the coupon from Local Saver did work eventually, but using it was way more of a hassle than I expected. The store seemed confused about it, and I had to show it twice before they accepted it. It saved me a little money in the end, but I’m not sure I’d go through that again.

I feel like you should only review this if you’ve actually used it yourself. I tried it out, used it for my own stuff, and based my opinion on that whole experience, not just what other people were saying. You notice little things here and there once you actually spend time with it.
